The weather is nice and we all know what that means. It is time to plan for our summer camping trips. Let's admit it, it can sometimes be overwhelming when planning what equipment you need to take along for your trip. This article will help you choose what you need to make your trip more enjoyable.
When camping, you spend a lot of time sitting around the fire or enjoying the nice weather. While most sites have picnic tables, picnic tables are not the most comfortable places to sit and relax. So, you will need a good comfortable chair. Zero gravity chairs are very comfortable. You can sit straight up in them or recline back to whatever position you find the most comfortable. They are lightweight and they don't take up too much room.
One of the most important things about camping is the fire. There is just something about a fire that brings people together. Most places have fire pits and you can purchase firewood to burn. However, It is not always easy to get the fire started or if you get to the site late you may not feel like trying to start a fire. A portable propane fire pit is so simple. You just hook the propane to it and turn it on and you have an instant fire to roast your marshmallows or hot dogs.
An instant pot is a staple. You can cook so many meals in it and you don't have to pack lots of big pots and pans. The meal possibilities are endless and it takes a fraction of the time to cook many of your favorite meals. It will not heat your kitchen like using the stove does.
A large patio rug is a must underneath the awning. You can set your chairs up on it and it just makes things so much neater. We like to take our shoes off before going into the camper to keep from tracking dirt inside. It also cuts down on dust.
Awning lights are a must. They are not only cute. They are functional as well. It is nice to have the ambient light at night when you sit around playing games or chatting about your day
Water pressure is not always great in campgrounds. Having a hand-held shower head can help with this problem. You will want to be sure to get one that has several different settings so you can adjust it to get the maximum amount of water pressure for your shower.
Having a portable grill can come in handy. Most campgrounds have fire pits but it is not always easy to gook on a fire pit. Some places will have grates that go down over the fire pit but that is no guarantee. Portable grills don't take up very much room and they can be a lifesaver if your campsite doesn't have an adequate fire pit or grill.
